Master stage hypnotist
Poldark has been performing professionally as a master stage and cabaret hypnotist for over 30 years, entertaining diverse audiences from private clients to large events.
His career has seen him perform in many countries around the world.
Clinical psychotherapist and hypnotherapist
In addition to stage work, he took time out in 2008 to study at Griffith College in Dublin and became a certified clinical psychotherapist and hypnotherapist. He has been helping private therapy clients for nearly 20 years, treating issues like trauma, anxiety and addictions.
Wellness coach & life coach
As well as helping private individuals with life challenges, he also offers a service to help promote a more positive sense and mindset.

FRIENDS OF ISAAC'S FOOD BANK
CHARITY FUNDRAISER
In the Summer of 2025, Poldark and the team supported Isaac Winfield and his Friends of Isaac’s food Bank team with their fundraising entertainment evening.
Hosted by Peter The Speaker and with performances from Magician Cavan Booth, Comedian Fat Theo and headlined by Poldark, the evening was an unforgettable night of fun, laughter and wonder.

He has such a natural talent and gave us a magnificent evening of wonder and real belly laughs. I was very sceptical but was utterly blown away. Three venues, one show
ALBA THEATRE
Small and intimate, perfect for audience members to get up close with the mystics of hypnosis and witness first hand the powers of the mind.
ST STEPHEN’S THEATRE
Named after Sir Ian McKellen, this theatre and its gothic feel made for the perfect setting. Audiences were treated to some absolute mind blowing performances.
NUCLEUS ATOMIC
Sharing the stage with some of Edinburgh Festival Fringes’ more well known entertainers, Poldark continued his run, wowing audiences show after show.

Volunteers, who must be aged 18 or older, can refuse at any point to continue taking part in the performance
Poldark only hypnotises people that come on stage and volunteer, everybody else in the audience are spectators
Safety is paramount; this is demonstrated throughout his shows as he takes his volunteers into the audience, making the audience feel like they are part of the entertainment
Risk Assessment – an extensive performance Risk Assessment is provided at ALL of his performances, ensuring the public attending are kept in safe hands
PRS and PPL Licences – The Poldark Show is a full choreography production and with that, has extensive music tracks that are incorporated within the show, all of which have been registered with the Performing Rights Society (PRS) and Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL)
Show Rider – before any performance or rehearsal a Show Rider is shared with the venue to facilitate with the venues’ requirements
